Saint Joseph Hall Groundbreaking
Saint Joseph Hall Groundbreaking
Dear Friend,
Can you believe it? It’s been nearly one year since Saint Joseph Hall burned down.
When the March 8th fire devastated our Saint Lawrence Seminary campus and broke our hearts, friends like YOU were quickly by our side with your prayers and support.
I’m certain, every day since the fire, someone has asked me, “Father John, when will you rebuild Saint Joseph’s Hall?”
Today I have an answer for you: Now!
On March 6, 2015, we will break ground on the new Saint Joseph’s Hall, two days before the first anniversary of the fire.
Click here to watch the fire video and see architectural renderings of the new building.
As you can see, much planning has gone into this. Our aim is to build for the future of Saint Lawrence Seminary, not merely to replace exactly what was lost.
And while our insurance company has been truly been good and helpful, the settlement will not nearly cover the cost of rebuilding.
We need you now more than ever.
Join us as we fulfill our promise to rebuild this holy and sacred place – with brick and mortar, but also “with Living Stones.” Together let us build for the future good of our Catholic Church and for future generations of seminarians who will serve God’s people.
May God’s boundless blessings be with you and your family as 2015 unfolds. Please pray for our seminarians. We pray each day for you.
Gratefully and sincerely yours,
Fr. John Holly, OFM Cap.
Rector
