St. Francis Novena

St. Francis Novena Prayer

O Lord Jesus,
in a world that has grown cold to your Passion,
inflame once more the hearts of your people
with the fire of your love
as You inflamed the heart of St. Francis of Assisi,
so that through his intercession and after his example,
we may devote ourselves wholly to Your service
in the Church and in the world.
We ask this through You who live and reign
with the Father and the Holy Spirit
in Perfect Trinity and Simple Unity,
God, forever and ever. Amen.
